I got tagged...by Addie Zack and Bekah Mulford so this covers both of them

Here are the rules:

1st player of this game starts with the topic "5 weird habits about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a xanga entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. in the end you need to choose five people to be tagged and list their names. don't forget to leave a rain cloud saying "you're tagged" and tell them to read you're xanga.

1) I make random comments sometimes. These comments can get me in trouble with people. The other day, one such comment was "ice storm", which I said for no apparent reason. But it lead to a very heated argument with someone who insisted I explain what I meant by it and when I said it didn't mean anything the person would not believe me.

2) I am in love with Dora the Explore's cousin DIEGO. He is so cute and he rescues animal and he sings songs in Spanish.....(For some reason this really embarrasses my siblings, who have caught me several times singing along with Diego).

3) I can't sleep with socks on...no matter how cold my feet are. I have always had a hard time understanding this about myself but I think I have figured it out. When I was little my mom made me wear those full body covering zip up suit pajamas, with the feet covered (I don't know how to explain it better) Anyway, I always felt very claustrophobic in those things and I think that is why I can't have my feet constrained when I am asleep.

4) I howl at the moon.....Just kidding just trying to lead you off track...which brings me to weird thing number four, I like to fool people into believing some interesting fact I spout out that I totally make up off the top of my head.

5) I like to drive with my eyes closed................(Just kidding!!!!!) Fine this last one is for Bekah, when I am talking about having typed something in the computer I motion with my hands by waving them up and down with all my fingers tightly together. (ohhhhh.....Bekah pointed this out to me one day I have been self-conscious about it ever sense, but if you want to tease me that's fine Bekah has made me tough enough to take it.)

I tagged.......Shannah, Angel, Naomi, Elle, and Laura.

I had a good weekend:

Friday night was Hannah's 16th Birthday party for which I was elected as one of the drivers for a scavenger hunt. I had a hilarious god time...mostly becasue my team consited of myself and four teen age boys (that was interesting). I had nearly forgotten what it was like to have the energy and noise capabilites of a teenager, but those boys reminded me as I chased after them and tried to avoid getting us in trouble. SOme of the highlights were rolling down Mt. Trashmore, Skater jumping in the pool, and trying adult sized dipers on in Walmart. As to what happened with those dipers later on will have to remain a mystery to all except to those who were at the party.

Saturday, David became a Bar-mitzvah. I enjoyed the service, the dancing was fun and David did a good job reading from the Torah, and his sppech was so full of graditude that everyone was so overcome with joy that they threw the candy before he actually said "today I am a man" (Hahahahaha....yeah that was funny). At college group the Rabbi gave a really good theological teaching on Torah. It really got me thinking which I like. The improve night at Regent was also fun, except it ran a little long (like an hour over the scheduled time). Afterwards, we (Angel, Bekah, Sally and I) went to Kelly's and ate dinner. I had a very happy 'corona' time.

Sunday, I went to the Women's Retreat but got there late so had a hard time geting into the mood of the day. However, "Runs with the Geese" and I had a good time talking, and teasing each other.

So thats the debriefing of my weekend

I am doing really well now....an huge improvement from last week.

I was so overwhelmed at the beginning of last week trying to juggle my three classes. I was a mess. Then I said to myself..."Why don't you get yourself a day planner, dummy." And that is exactly what I did. I wrote all the stuff I had to get done down in my handy dandy noteboo...ummm...planner and now I do not feel so stressed and overwhelmed. Marissa just need to have organization to keep her sanity.

This week was awesome for another reason as well. On Sat. night  I saw the Broadway musical Miss Saigon. I enjoyed it immensely. I love the music in it. I went with Taryn, Mrs. Mulford, Bekah, Shayna, Hannah, and Shannah. We ate before hand at an Italian place. The food made Shannah sick to her stomach and she was at the point of regurgitation for most of the night. (I felt bad for her...but it was kinda funny...especially when Bekah stole a bag from the trash can in the bathroom so that Shannah could have it just in case....hahaha). Despite all that the performance was wonderful. It was great to actually see the show after all the times that I have listened to it on Cd.

Oh and how could I forget the pleasure of finally seeing Hannah emotional response to the finally (meaning: Hannah cried and that was sweet!) She has teased me so much about crying at movies and plays...so I feel justified now.

Favorite quote of the night:

"I stepped in my stramboli" -Shayna

"Shayna stepped in stramboli...HAHAHA" -Marissa
